Dragonfly Hill's September Artisan Market

Thanks to our wonderful group of artisans who participated in our September Artist Market at Dragonfly Hill.

Meredith Toumayan of "Mulberry Marsh Designs" was back with us with her beautiful knitted wear from the wool of her pet sheep and goats. http://www.mulberrymarshdesigns.com

Brittany Sorice of "Knitz and Bitz" rejoined us too with all her special goodies from woven beaded jewelry to knitted baby booties and caps. http://www.knitsandbits.blogspot.com

Kathey Kriegel of "Highfields Pottery" in Byfield, had a wonderful assortment of her hand thrown and slab pottery pieces in warm colors and hues.

Barbara French of "Bubbies Bag's" in Sterling and her daughter Tamah, wowed us with her one of a kind "yo-yo" necklaces and one of a kind fabric purses and envelope bags - gorgeous stuff!

And thanks to all the artists that have participated at the Dragonfly Hill Artist Market this season. Since the Artist Market is an outdoor venue and with the colder temperatures ahead - we have decided to forgo having Artist participate in October and November Markets.

Now we start putting it all together. The nights have been cooler but sadly the days are starting to grow shorter.
Our Raffle this month will be a wonderful array of "Mums" and Pumpkins to help you dress up your home for the Fall Season.

Labor Day Weekend

Yahoo! Earl wasn't so bad for us here on the North Shore of MA and now the humidity is gone and the temps are perfect. Got so much done today and I am excited with what we have to offer for the September Market.

Just found out that Alycia's new line from ESC is going out the door in Seattle A very kind admirer left her a awesome note about how he loves her work.

What an amazing group of dealers we have on Dragonfly Hill. Chris, Faye, and Tracey are going to be opening thier own shop the same weekend as Dragonfly Hill, but that won't slow down those ladies. They will still be here struting their stuff. We have a brand new dealer. Welcome Connie. She is just getting started and we couldn't be more excited that she wants to do it with us.

Hope you all enjoy the perfect weather

Talking 'bout heat wave

Hey everyone, Hope you are all coping with the extreme heat. But wait there is Hurricane Earl just inching up the coast line in our direction. That won't get me down. I have been so busy gathering up some really cool stuff you all of you. We are coming into such a amazing and colorful time of year. And I'm sure most of you are looking forward to alittle relief from the heat.

I love the fall. It's still nice and warm, the nights are cool and the sleeping is perfect. Then the brillant golds, reds, and oranges make there arrival and it is like a mass color splash everywhere you look.

Dragonfly Hill's September market will follow natures lead and offer the warmth of Fall. There will be wonderful furniture, lots of linens, funky and gently used clothing, collectibles, jewelry, orginal one of a kind items and so so much more.

Hope you can stop by September 16-18. I'm sure you will be delighted.
